I offer an interactive and engaging presentation tailored for academic institutions (K-12, colleges/universities), conferences, non-profit organizations, or corporations. Select topics include education for Black and brown girls, culturally responsive education, Black and brown women in higher education, workplace equity for Black and brown women, women’s history, Black history, African cultures and societies, the legacies of Black College and Universities (HBCUs).
Empower your group with professional development - workplace training to promote inclusivity and cultural competencies or curriculum innovation. My engaging workshops, available by the hour, half-day, and full-day, equip your team with tools and knowledge. The goal is to recognize and address implicit bias, understand the significance of cross-cultural understanding in cultivating a safe and productive workspace or develop innovative curricula that honor diverse cultures (for educators). Up to 25 persons.
Professional Development for School Leadership and Educators: training exercises aimed at creating inclusive communities. Participants will acquire knowledge and tools to enhance pedagogical approaches, empathy, address implicit/unconscious bias, develop cultural competence, and bolster learner resilience. Hourly, half-day, and full-day.
